June 2009
First paint. he had some badluck so he repaint the car a second time.
Second paint work make a ugly reaction with the basecoat. The probleme was the quality of the base coat.
(No pics for that)

August 2009.
The engine bay was nice so I've decide the put the engine in and finish the wiretuck.

After one many weeks of waiting, I go to the paint shop to see the work. Surprise, the paint is so ugly that i decide to bring it back at home. it was pink, red, dark red and pink. I need the help of the police to bring the car because the paint shop dont want to let me have it.

Mars 2010
I strip all the 30 and more coats of paint to put the car on the metal.

Now the car is at a other paint shop. I think I can trust them.

The only probleme is that I can decide what color to do.

Red, bronze, Gold, Blue, green....

Yeah thanks, I would like to go with a gold/bronze combo or gold/gold combo but it's hard to find the good one.

This is an awesome color, looks really good on the car. I just painted my wheels this color, which they came out a little darker than your car.

Sorry for late updates. I've work on the car everyday this week. The engine is in with some HybridRacing goodies. The hood and wing is recleared. Tomorow I'll probably finish the installation of the engine. My girlfriend help me alot. The car will be polish monday if everything is ok.

nice new color, i also like the amber pearl from the toyota line. If you dont mind me asking what happen with your old base which made the color bad? looked like any form of wine candy you would just use a high metallic black or dark grey to give that dark candy color.

Just because I've ordered the fuel rail from them. I have the shifter bushing, the base shifter bushing and grounding kit from hybridracing.

Before I give an opinon I want to see it together and in the sun.. Takes a lot of balls going with a color like that. Not many cars can pull of unique colors, hope yours does. 30+ coats, that would have became a nightmare down the road, good tihng you got it all off and done right.. Goodluck with everything.

This week I've install Avid racing motor mounts. The car run so great since this mod. The engine is solide and it change the driving excessively.

I've also install Aerocatch hood pin but it was'nt a success. Too much angle in our hood for this hood pins. So I still have to work on them.

I removed the windows tint, install JDM DC5 red carpet, Dynomax exhaust, dynamat in doors with new sub boxe and now I try somethings to make the engine bay a little nicer.
