125$????? There's a vendor selling a flip key on ebay for 60$ I bought that and got the key cut and programmed for free at a honda dealer. Key works pretty well so far.
Who is ur dealer n they did it for free?

I went to Norm Reeves honda in HB california. The guy there was pretty cool and he did it for me for free. All they do is trace the key and cut it. The tracing process involves copying the information from the chip in your key to the chip in the new key. If you go to a dealer with the new key looking for them to program it to your immobilizer, then that costs 50$ or so.
There's a seller on ebay that sells a pretty decent flip key for 50$ or so for the 03+. name is artiway. I bought my 02 flip key from him too but looks like he discontinued it. If you ask him maybe he'll have some left.

Why waste your money on Ebay jank? Just buy the OEM key and the OEM two-button replacement cover. Then swap in your own chip and program the transmitter for free.
Just talk to the guy u recommended on Ebay n he said he still has them in stock for my 04 Ep3, but dealers around Richmond va wants over 100 to cut n reprogram the transponder? Called local locksmiths n lowest I got is 65 to cut n clone?

When you buy from the ebay guy, make sure the FCCID is correct. I told him I wanted one with FCCID: OUCG8D-344H-A and the T10 chip because that was the FCCID for my key fob. Your dealers in Richmond are just trying to make money. I got mine cut and done for free, and even then the it only cost 10 dollars. The process for cutting is cut and trace. All they do is take your spare key and trace the ebay key and cut it and copy the chip info onto the ebay key. Only took about 10 mins total. You said you have an 04 right? I think the Acura key Mighty Mouse is selling works for you.

1. Of course the Acura key works. It's much better than the Ebay jank.
2. I sold the extra one that I had a long time ago.
