just got my swap done a few days ago, car runs fine. the only thing is im running with no thermostat. the shop that i had my swap done at said, the thermostat housing or hose didnt fit with the ep3. so they said they had to buy a part from K-tuned (K24/K20Z3 Swivel Neck Thermostat Housing), it came with a thermostat and everything, they installed it and the car was overheating, so they replaced the thermostat and worked fine till we test drove it and saw the temp go up little by little, so we just ended up taking the thermostat out.

now is there a way to fix this problem or what can i do? thanks in advance

It's probably got nothing to do with the T-Stat. The K24 sits higher in the engine bay so you need to raise the front end pretty high to get the air out of the system.

What product did you get from K tuned?
this one? http://www.k-tuned.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=123

or this one? http://www.k-tuned.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=124

or this http://www.k-tuned.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=104

did they re route the small coolant hoses to bypass the Throttle-body?
its a real bitch to get some of the air bubbles out of the system make sure your heater is on full heat and turn it on to 2 on the fan switch to make sure it is engaged. just like slip angle said you need to get that front end WAY up there to get the air out of the system.

I didn't use anything special for my theromstat. We just raised the car as high as we could and filled it up/let it run.

Got it done like Jersey Shore. One shot kid, thats one shot!
