Lol, I know it makes no sense. In the old 16'' wheel thread I had seen a lowered EP with 55 series tires but with the stance and wheel/tire combo it had the wheels looked really small (and very un-sporting). I'll have my new suspension before my current tires wear out so I'll make that decision after I see the new wheel gap.

Ah that answers an important question. I'm slightly lower so I'm hoping when I drop to a 50 series tire the gap won't be too substantial.

Have these coming next week. Kosei K1s, 16x8.5, +37, 16.2 lbs. Been looking a long time for these. Will initially put my Kumho XS 225/50s on, then, I think, go with Toyo 245/45f, 225/45 rear. Maybe keep the Kumhos on the rear and add a little more camber. Will eventually powdercoat them black. I'm a happy camper.

16x8 +25 MB Competitions. Hand polished by myself. These are wrapped in 205/50 Dunlop Dirrezzas.
The grayish wheel in the second picture is also the second set of wheels to this car. Those would be the same wheel in a 16x7 +42 flavor wrapped in 225/50 Dirrezzas.

They are currently in transit from Florida to my secret cave hideaway. I guess they'll look ok, but I bought them for the width and that they're a very good wheel for a very good price. I had some on a Miata back in the day but not sure they will be awesome on the EP. They should look better when I paint them black, EP is NHB.
