It's pretty good oil but certainly not the best. Ricers like it because they think it's JDM.

A good synthetic oil is fine,no need to spend big bucks on this.

my coworker is running amsoil on his 8th gen. he says he doesn't even have to change the oil for 30k or so. he even tested it around like 6-7k and they said it was still good condition oil

Your coworker is an idiot if he's running Amsoil (or any other oil) for 30,000 miles.

I am sure it's good oil but it just boggles my mind why people want oil that is "good" upto 80k miles or whatever.. Personally I like to change mine every 5k miles. Make sure there is no metal in there or anything looking funny. I rock valvoline oil and a decent filter. I have probaby driven a total of 200k miles (on different vehicles) using valvoline with no failure due to oil (Only time my motor was destroyed was because I am a retard at times.)

+1... lots of K20 10,000+ mile intervals with great results.

I've seen two Blackstone reports for eneos each with 10k+ miles on it, The Oil held up very very well, with very little break down. each case they said the oil had life left in it.
It's decent stuff. I get it for pretty cheap so it's worth it to me.
