I think Apexi is releasing a controller for the k20 , dunno if their available yet. But there seems to be a lot of confusion out there as to when our watered down version of vtec actually engages, many say 2200 rpms, some of us think 4700 rpms. If it is 2200 rpms then the controller would be useless, if it is 4700 rpms then it may have some benefit. I think the fuel controller portion of any controller would be the most beneficial, to lean out the air fuel ratio on the top end for a few hp. The Apexi SAFC is available for our cars to tune the fuel.

There has been much talking about this. I-vtec engages after 2300k rpm at full throttle all the way to the top. It doesn't fully open the cams up till higher in the powerband, but it still does engage low (at full throttle) Peace
