02-03 lense on 0405 housing?

out of curiosity. im sure its been done, i havent seen it though. but has anyone takin the 02 03 headlight lense and attatched them to the 04 05 housing so it doesnt have that bubble look? ive wondered this for a while but havent seen it done. you would get the lighting of the 04 with the flat lense like the 02. been done? or even possible or worth doing?

I don't think they are exactly the same shape. I don't see it working. Most people who don't like the shape of 04-05 would rather just switch the whole light.

yea i see what your saying. but the headlight fits all ep3s so in theory it seems like u could just switch the lenses if you liked the 04 style without the bubble.

wont fit..the corners on the housing are different
