what is a good price to pay for one i found a couple of them anywhere between 6 grand and 10grand

It really depends on milage and conditions..
if you like the eg.? well then welcome to the new eg... not to fast from stock but very easy to drop a k24 or the famouse k20a..very interchangable with pritty much all 02+rsx,civic,tsx,accord..
it al drops righ in like the eg and integra...
you will enjoy it, do it!.. i paid 25,000 brand new an i was only 16 when i bought it back in 02.. iv owned jdm h22 eg, b20b da tegs,b16 eg hatches... you name it.. but so far yet i love the ep3 by far the best...

the stock k20a3 isn't as bad as people say. of course it won't be as fast as a type s, but it's a very reliable engine with some potential.
