is the K24 and K20 dipsticks the same length? I need to replace the faded one that came with the motor.

IIRC the K24 dipstick is longer to allow for the taller deck of the K24 block. I won't swear to that though.

I use a black jdm stick, I notched a line in the black one at the same level as the high mark on the k24 one.
The low on the k24 is lower then the 20 stick goes so I keep my oil between the high mark I made and the bottom of the stick.
I can take a pic tomorrow if you want.

paint the orange handle black. paper and tape the rest of the dip stick first so it doesnt get painted. Just a thought....
