i'm thinking about taking my sisters wheels (HX) and swapping them for my stockies on my ep3. Do you think 14s are too small? The tires on the HX wheels are thicker so it will give me more traction and torque and HX wheels are one of the lightest factory wheels honda has ever made. what are some of your opinions?

the only fit the rear. It will run into the calipers in the front.

But they sure are light as hell.

yeah i know i have to modify the rotors. we had to do it to my sisters car. =( but do you think its worth it?

they can only fit the rear on my car. the front will hit the calipers. i think putting spancer might clear them, but i have tried it yet.

oh yeah, i like those wheels so much and i had them on my eg6 si as well (extreme light). i can lift it with tire with one hand without a problem. i would say it's worth the modification.

this idea is nice and all but you'll be running a pretty big sidewall, which will introduce a lot of sidewall flex which makes handling less responsive...so...personally, i think the lighter rotational mass isnt worth the loss in handling responsiveness...I would go try and find a light weight 15" wheel instead. see on my car i cant run anything smaller than 16" wheels because of my brakes, i have 1cm clearance from the calipers to the wheels and a couple mm from the wheel weights so...yup

you have a very good point. i'll probably stick to 15s because i put the 14s on just to see what it looked like and it looked a little silly. now all i need is money so i can buy new wheels :(

I have 15" enkeis on mine and love them. :) Just save up some cash. It's worth it! Stock wheels were about 22 lbs a piece and the pf-01s I got are just over 10 lbs each!:mconfused:

Nice choice man! Love the new design and the fact that they are lighter than rpf1's in certain sizes!

also...the HX wheels were desiged for max milage. They are light as hell, but u'll be running 185s or 195s on it which imo is shitty for handling.

this is true, shitty for handling but great in the wet and snow
