it was $55 but I wanted them stripped so the price bumped up to $75/wheel. But I think I should have just saved myself the extra $100 and stripped them myself...oh well to late now.

When I got my DC5R wheels they had some blemishes on them so I decided to get them powder coated. I also chose to strip them myself (chemically). It took my an entire week of evenings after work to get it done. Then when I brought them to get coated the guy told me he had to blast them anyway to get any residual junk off from the paint, my hands, or the chemicals I used. He told me he would have blasted the wheels for $20 bucks. That would have saved me a lot of time.

around me its about $50 a wheel since it might be because i know them though.
If you have any schools around you find someone there to do them.
We have wyotech here and ill be getting mine done for just the cost of the powder i bought.

LOL same thing happened to me "WTF is statutory bronze??!?! oooOOOH statuARY...got it!"

OP, nice man! Way to breathe some new life in to the wheels! Been thinking of doing this myself lately, the old Konigs are getting kinda boring to me...maybe some color though...

i hope your ep is just for groceries shopping.. during the process of powder caoting, they will put it in a oven to cook the paint, that makes your wheel not as solid as it used to be. so if the wheel is used for racing purpose i totally dont suggest it.
