I was just wondering if there is a speed limiter.

What is the fastest anyone has gone in their 02 Si? I did 120 mph, but that was slighly uphill. I had to slow down because I was catching up with traffic ahead of me.

Use the "search" feature for info on the Rev Limiter. But I will let you know that the 02 Civic Si (SiR) does have one.

By the way, welcome to ephatch.

there is no speed limiter on the ep's.. While I was on the dyno, we made a top end run and it went up to 134mph when it then ran out of gear and hit the rev limiter.. but there was never a speed limiter.. The fact that it went to 134 doesn't mean it would do it on the street, you have to factor in the wind and drag that there is on the street. thanks

I've heard rumors of a speed limiter. Some people say you can't go past 130mph. Logically though, when you're in 5th gear and you reach your red line on the tach, you shouldn't be able to go much faster.

Here is an awsome topic on the top speed:

And this is a good topic on the rev limiter: http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=334&highlight=limiter

Enjoy!
