Breather vs catch can

I've noticed a little oil and stuff around my crankcase and intake. I was wondering what would be better, installing a crankcase breather or an oil catch can? Thanks for the help.

Your "crankcase breather" is your PCV valve. The oil vapor exits the crankcase through the PCV valve, which is recirculated back into the intake. Run the PCV to a catch can, and then back out to the intake and you will be good.:thumbu:

Are you actually talking about the crankcase? or the valve cover?
