removing sound deading material help

I've removed my rear seats.
There is a local store/brewery that makes dry ice. He has two choice, either a 10lb or 40lb.
How much should I get?

What's the time that the dry ice should be left to do it's thing?
Any specific chisel to use?

Exactly what I used works great and use a putty knife or something to scrape it away and its just as good!
