Quick Question, on the outer tie rod end, the part that connects to your suspension, the bolt or w.e, is it supposed to be able to move around? or stay perfectly perpendicular?

Yes, the tie rod end has a ball joint that lets the tapered "bolt" part move around somewhat. It should be covered by the grease-packed rubber boot.

Easy if you have a pitman arm puller, like a 10$ tool or rent for free at auto zone

The tie rods, not the tie rod ends? they are a seperate part.

it's not too hard to replace, but the problem is u'll need alignment after wards anyway, y not just let the ppl who does ur alignment install it for u?

It shouldn't move around freely.

If you measure the distance from the end of the threads on the tierod to the center of the tierod end, and duplicate that measurment on the new tierod end, there is no need for a alignmment.

yea i get that, but i didn't so i went and had a "toe-in" job done, or what ever it is called. Squeaking is still occuring, I'm just wondering if i should be worried about it. If not i can just turn up the stereo.
