I have two problems right now. One is my car seems to hesitate a bit when I acclerate from a stop. Two is around 40 mph car starts to shake when im accelerating until about 50-55 mph. Could that just be a wheel balancing issue? It feels like its coming from the passenger side. Any ideas?

the shaking is probably the tire and the hesitating could be the fuel pump. Do you have a check engine light ?

Yeah my car wants to shake like michael j fox when I hit 75+mph (don't mean to be threadjacking, maybe we have the same problem)

Passenger, you probably just have pollen caked up in your tread :caked:
My guess is wheel balance on the vibration thing or bad tire.

Can't be the pollen, I hosed it off ;P
Can't be a bad tire, cause we all know the hands of God crafts each and every toyo
Maybe its a crappy alignment or wheel balance.

I have a race header, sri, coilovers, torque damper, and rims.
What's shaking? Car, steering wheel, motor/upon accel?

it could be your driveshaft that is going out.. maybe you have a cv boot that is broken.

Well I changed the whole fuel pump assembly and its still hesitating. Any other suggestions? Is it maybe fuel injectors?

you shouldnt throw parts at your car and hope that fixes the problem. its a waste of money and thats wat mechanics do

See if resetting the ECU helps the hesitation. Pull the ECU/FI fuse in the underhood fuse box for about 30 seconds and then re-install the fuse and do a idle relearn or go for a 20 mile drive around town.

I dont know why I didnt do that in the first place. I wasnt even thinking about it. I do that any time I do anything to my car. Yeah ill try that. Thanks.
