Hi. Just wondering what the biggest size you think should be on an Ep3? We know that there was a person with 20 inch rims that selling their car.

But what do you think most perfect size for ep3?

Right now, I current have Dr-10 18 inch rims on my car with the tires 225/40/18

Gonna have picture of my car with those rims later today.

Please vote the size you think the perfect match with ep3.
If you have picture, post it up the size, brand, and picture on your car.

size also depends on the type of rims some 18" rims looks sick on ep's
I have 18"'s and they look good
but you can pull it off with most 17" rims

anything below is too small IMO
but of course it depends your style

alot of people run 16 and 17 but very few do 15's and 18's

good luck

17's for two reasons. First you get the most versatility with wheel widths and second you get the most tire options. Also, the tires aren't that expensive in comparison to their 18 inch companions. Then again I'm talking performance, for looks do whatever you want.

I have 18s. And although it looks sexy as hell, I would have to agree with 17s as being ideal. It looks good and you can mix and match your tires' aspect ratio/size according to your performance and appearance needs. With 18s you're a bit limited with tire sizes.

What the size you have for your 18s currently?

I had 215/35/18 for a while. Riding on rubber bands made for a harsh ride. Went to 215/40/18. Rides a lot better, but now theres some slight rubbing when taking sharp turns.

Really though, what are you looking for? Drag? auto cross? daily driven?

In my opinion, the lowest I'll go is 16 and the biggest I'll go is 18. I've gone from 18 to 17 to 16. I wanted something good for daily driven but again something that is lighter in weight as well. 18 was the worst for me. When I bought my EP it came with chrome 18 inch rims with low profile tires. With the low profile tires, I felt every crack on the road/highway. Also it was really heavy so when you stomp on the gas, don't expect the ep to jump ahead. 17 was alright, I had a few problems rubbing as I'm dropped on Tein Basics but mainly the rubbing happen with the cold air intake. I was on a set of toyo proxes4 205/45/17 and 17 inch ADR spawns. (Till this day, I still don't know how majority of the people here can get up to 225/45/17 without rubbing the cai...lol). The 17's were a bit heavy but overall the ride was smooth though. Then I went with 16's Rota Slipstreams on 205/50/16 BF Goodrich Geforce Sports and it does feel lighter and a bit faster on the pickup but the ride was not as smooth as 17's. So between the rim sizes that I would choose, I would go with anything from 16 or 17. I haven't tried 15's yet because they look really small but might be good for dragging though.

Right now, im running with 225/40/18 x7 offset 40. i have to move my inside fender for the front part to the closest to front bumper or will rub if i turn my wheel all the way to either way. (i drop with 2 inch with tein spring too). Basically, I have around 1/2 inch clear on the top. Probably 1/4 inch clear on front and back and also the inside. Right now, I feel like Im driving a SUV with those rims. cuz when i park side by side with civic. My car is the same height or even taller than them. Hope if this help fix your rubbing with just zip tie your front interior fender to the closest to front bumper which help me after couple tries.

17's for sure. Not to big and not to small. Pair them with some 225's and itll look real nice.

I like 16s. It feels the best cause they are not that heavy. I admit there are more tire selection for 17s than 16s though. Also, 225/50/16 looks terrible compared to 225/40-45/17 ... I personally think ep3 needs at least 225 since our car is heavy.. lol
