Wow that sucks.

I know nothing about swapping the trans from the Z3 into the EP chassis, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

They can't make it work either?

This is an easy fix

The shifter is reversed on the 06+ si's What you have to do it this. You have to remove the Z3 shift mechinism, and put the on from your Ep on it. all of the bolt holes will not line up correct, atleast two will. You will need to drill and tap a new whole for the third.

No big deal, i'll get you to a post that explains this in more detail.

You can't use the cables. THE BCSS is required, or you have to mod your stock shifter. So don't worry about that.

It's a pretty streght forward switch. Take old one off, new one goes on. Tap 3rd bolt hole, and your set. good luck

here you go. take the cable back. Save the money, tell the shop google is the best.

The cables WILL NOT fix the issue. A complete waste of time, energy and money. The shifters work in reverse operation of each other, what tools you have taken your ride to!

Sorry you have to endure this, for a relatively easy job.

damn, and cables arn't keep either. Tell them to take those things back. I hate it when shops just try to toss every possoble dollar they can at a problem. If you would like post up their number, Either I or Talon can give them a call and explain to them what the problem is.
