If you're looking for sticky .... No.

If you're looking for sticky:
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec
Falken Azenis RT 615
Advan Neova AD08
Kuhmo XS

I wouldn't go over a 235 on a 7.5" wheel. 225 would be a good fit. Check the manufacturer's specs on the tires to see if you are able to mount on a 7.5" rim.

Don't cheap out on rubber!

?? i'm nervous about buying tires.. i feel retarded, but i'm going to have the money for them in 2 weeks and i don't want to buy some i'll regret buying. i want something that will last me at least 20k miles and give me impressive grip. can someone just tell me what to buy. i'm tired of window shopping online and reading stupid reviews

I've had Toyo Proxes 4's since I was 16 and LOVE them so much. I personally like 225/40 best for 16's. If you want to save a few bucks go with 205/40. I got (sadly) 195/50 for my 15s last year from td4l.com they give you what its speed rating and tread and all that stuff. :thumbu: for those guys, great deals. hope this helps. Good luck

they don't make the proxes 4 in 225/40/16.. just 205. i am looking at yokohama S drive... 215/40/16. $92 a tire..

I am getting so freaking tired of reading reviews.. every other one is - this tire is crap and the loudest thing ever, worthless... and the next one would be saying they're the best tire on the planet. BS!

I never said they did  ..I said I like those specs the best..

it doesn't matter what you look at, especially for automotive parts, you're going to have many mixed views about every single product because not everyone drives the same and needs/desires the same thing. Look at old tires you've had, check out the specs and whatever areas you think those could use improvement on, look for tires with those upgrades. And $92 for that specific tire spec on Toyo Proxes 4 isn't bad at all, three places around here locally are wanting $120 for each.

I just got a set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 really good price and super sticky you should look into them. Car and driver rated them second to the Star specs but they are alot more affordable and have a higher tread life.

Same here dude and thats the case for every single tire and the reviews that follow lol, I have Dunlop Star Specs on order BUT im going to be racing, If I werent racing id get the Yokohama S-drives they have decent grip, amazing wet traction and last a really long time.

Good to know i was kinda worried about tread life before I made the purchase but said screw it, im more excited to see how they will handle rain, all the years ive been driving ive never had a good rain tire.

you will be shocked how well they stick in the wet. i thought the g-forces were good until these tires. can't say enough about them.

depending on how low you want your car will determine how wide your tires can be, also the alignment settings and whether or not your going to have to roll/cut your fenders. but imo the best tire to go with would be the dirrezza star specs....and the best size i think for 7.5 would be 225/50 cuz i used to run that size w the same exact rims but if i were to get slips again i would go for a wider width maybe 8.5 and use 225s
heres a couple pics of my old setup falken ze912 225/50/16 slips r 16x7.5, dropped all the way on bc N+.....rear fenders rolled and cut (although i dont think they needed to be for this setup..i ahd them cut/rolled for 18s) i believe alignment specs were -1.9 f and -2.0 r

so i pretty much got what ur asking for but like i said if i did it again id choose wider width wheels w the 225s
