Slightly better gas mileage? You really shouldn't feel much of a difference. If there is, it's not very noticeable. It's more a preventative maintenance thing.

Just got back from jumping here on the 91 fwy, I kicked it up to about 125 Miles or so, I felt a difference, My Engine Revs actually felt smoother then before, Same Shifting of course, It felt smoother. Like if the engine wasnt so pressured.

What did they charge for valve adjustment ? Ive never paid anyone to do it....Im just curious as to how much I actually save by doing it myself.

Well I get a really good discount at my Honda out here, :) It's 179$ but I got it for 106$.

Except right now I'm kind of mad, Going to start a new thread.

it will feel smother and the engine (especially if you have a CAI) will sound much quiter. as far as feeling different...not anything noticable

If the valves were truly out of spec and noisey that indicates excessive valve lash, this decreases the lift of the valve reducing the power. Setting the valve lash correctly should see a very minor gain in power, usually felt as the engine gaining it's snap back. Also a correct valve lash will not set off the knock sensor with ghost knock retarding the ignition timing.
