I will make this a sweeter deal and lower the price to $3200, Give me a call or PM and we can talk.

As for selling the motor and ecu only what about the tranny?

As for the $2800 offer that is way low, give me a call.

Damn! I WANT that motor. Maybe I'll treat myself to an early XMas present. :D Can I come down to take a look at it? Did you break it in or abuse it?

This motor was in no way abused...as a matter of fact when you see the car it came out of you will understand. The car was broken in for 1000 miles (then changed to Redline oil), and only ran for another 2000 miles after that.

There are also alot of engines circulating out of wrecked cars, this is out of a brand new car...the only reason why it came out was beacause I was hooked up with a JDM motor.

This has to be the best K20A2 I have seen for sale...the only way you could buy newer is going to a dealer and paying $5K. I was thinking of keeping it as a backup, but because of all the other shit I put in my car, I got to make some of that money back.

I will also be selling the complete stock suspension and brakes from my Type S. That means Struts, Springs, Arms, Rotors, Calipers, Etc. A nice upgrade that bolts onto your cars.

Yes you can come look at it whenever you want. I am located in West Covina, the engine is on a pallet (not on the floor) ready to go to a new home.

Thanks guys...I'm really excited about it. I'll post any problems I encounter in the swap.

By the way, RSX-Type R's car is a JDM lover's dream. What a gorgeous car! Integra Type R badging, wing, cluster....true K20A Type R engine, LSD, etc...Bride seats, Tein coilovers, carbon fiber hood....I had a hard-on the whole time I was there getting the A2.

Has anyone seen anything on how to bypass the immobilizer?

according to SCC you can have the ecu reprogrammed by honda to match the immobilizer and accept your key... but its like 70 bux

I read that about the dealer doing it too. But I have also heard that there is a way to bypass it by jumping 2 wires at the ECU....

In order to take it to the dealer I would have to run it on the Si ECU (kinda scary since it will try to go into VTEC at 2300 RPM.)

There HAS to be a way around it!

I plan to take the car everywhere when it's done! We should get all the California members together and have a meet sometime!

You shouldn't have a problem runnin with the SI ecu. Hasport I believe did it with their civic to the dealer to reprogram everything.
