cat problem????

I have an ep3 03 and I replaced the headers cat and cat back exhaust and a code came up it was the p0420 wich is the cat problem but I was wondering if its that since I got the high flow cat is that the reason or it should be the o2 sensors help please

Hmm i was getting that of course from running headers with no cat same code. It was the 2nd o2 sensor so i bought a o2 spacer, installed it on the second one and never got a cel ever since.

If the aftermarket high flow cat isn't as efficient as the OEM, than you would get a cat code.

Use a mechanical O2 sim on your secondary sensor. There should be a DIY for the one I'm using in the stickys.

ebay. lol. 12 bucks. With the headers no cel with the spacer.
