OK so i don't have a inner wheel well liner so i decide to copy the Heat sheild used on short ram intakes, now this could've been done alot better but it didnt matter to me i juss wanted something there.

1. I went to Home depot and brought the air duct aluminum that was already split down the middle. Totally cost 3.79 with tax:

2.Create a template for yourself easier to cut and have guidelines in advance:

3.Take dremel and begin to cut out the template you made for yourself:

4.Should look like this at the end:

5. Now if you really don't care you can slap it on like that, but i don't want mine to be so noticeable so i decide to rattle can it black.Ddidn't cost me anything but i already had the cans laying around:

6. Take the shield you made put the intake inside and bend the tabs along the side like so:

7. Tighten it the intake and shield back on and there you go splash guard for $3.50 :mtongue::

Cool, I love Home Depot.. my friends always joke at me when they have problems or want to do something and they look at my eyes and say" I bet this Guy is gonna say.." Go to home depot.. lol

I'll be doing this soon and will post some follow-up pics..

It looks a little too restrictive. Maybe cut longer mounting ends?

idk bout restrictive but it sure does beat my sri i had. if i had a wheel well liner then i wouldnt have done it but id much rather spend 3.50 and some change than 50 for a new liner. and i didnt know how long to cut the mounting ends never did this before but they could b a bit longer

Very nice! Props! :) Except if you make it a longer, Water might want to just be Forcefully Indcuted on there.... Just a thought lol.

I sorta did the same thing except I cut up a old fender wheel liner and wedged it in there. Works great! But good job man, creative simple thinking.
