k20a2 tranny in ep3

when u do a motor swap in ep3 to a k20a2 w/ 6 speed tranny is there any modding needed to fit trannt since the ep3 has the unique dash shifter? and a type s ecu will work fine?? simple questions, i'm just am new to this.

yes you can swap in a K20A2 into your Ep3 and you dont need to modify much - you still use the Ep3 shift linkage , and K20a2 Ecu but you will need Kpro because if immobilizer and better tuning abilities. other then that really its a direct replacement of the K20a3. good luck and let us know how it turns out. any other questions?

not as of yet. i will def. let u know how it turns out. the next step is finding a credable shop or person to do a great job for me. when i did my 90 hach w/ b16 it was 250 in and 250 out, but i cant find him and that was 6+ years ago. not sure what the average rate is now-a-days is.

You will need the Hybrid racing adaptor. If you don't use it your speedo will not work correctly. Average rate now is about 400 out, 400 in

There is NO need to waste Money on that VSS adaptor, simply use a 02'-04' transmission. That adaptor is for the 05'+ 6spd's that use the high freq signal.
