yeah but what do I need to get these to work?

You will need to have the 05'+ RSX lowerball joint, or the LCA's are mugen versions with the smaller inserts for the early typeS and EP3 lowerball joints. You will also need the DC5R sway bar.

what kind of benefits would they provide?
Just lighter than stock?

Lighter, different mounting point for the sway, Wider wheel track.

off topic: is there any difference between the rsx type s and the ep3 (front and rear lca)?

Slight differences, but not in any length dimension. The rear LCA's will be a different bolt pattern and the later typeS front LCA's have a larger lower ball joint.

The stock axles will work with the wider track?

Wow what a pita, all those things would make this about a $500-$600 project.

I'm running on HFPs and think my existing sway setup (OEM 25mm front, Type R 22 mm rear) is perfect, and would prefer not to run any smaller of a sway bar in front.
