you know what, I am not to sure. It came with the car. I have seen many Mini's with it though, I thought it was factory made.

This thing is a blast to drive, handles so well. Only 2400 lbs, but solid at that. I also think the supercharger was upgraded from stock.

how much you paid and mileage? i might be looking for one. is it faster than a jrsc ep3?

when it was bought, it was 19kish, mileage atm is around 86k and pulling hard. I havent ridden in a jrsc-r or a jrsc-s ep3 before, so I wouldn't be able to compare.

like is said above, it would easily blow the modded ep3 out of the water, seeing as its like 500 lbs lighter, and has more power/torque. I could look up the speccs for the S/C Mini engine, but it wouldn't be accurate because it has an upgraded S/C. You can throw the this thing into corners that the ep3 couldn't dream of. I'm sure you know that the Mini's are now made by BMW, so they are pretty reliable. The engines are single over head cam, 1.6 liter. The only bad thing about the Mini, is that work is extremely expensive on them. I haven't heard of people having problems with mileage on the engines.
