View Full Version : foglights for JDM kit...

hey guys...i have a quick question. i have the JDM kit on my and i was wondering, this probably means that i have to get the JDM foglights as well, right?

ive know already that the OEM foglights wont fit into the JDM kit...

just wanted a strait answer and would really appreciate if anybody knew of a place to purchase them. thanks

yes, you need jdm foglights.

fyi, the wiring and lenses are the same, its just the mounting housing thats different...

yes you can. i believe a few members have. it requires a lot of cutting/trimming of the bumper and the fog shrouds.

its been done before..i dont see why it wouldnt hurt to try
if you mess up you can just buy an ebay kit for ~$30 and try again

just carefully shave the housing and youll be set

yea im just worried about the bumper. there aren't a bunch of JDM kits lying around if i mess up, you know....but yea, its worth the try. thanks guys

its not that hard to cut out the holes for the fog lights...just be patient and concentrate. when i did mine i drilled 3 holes and used a knife to cut from hole to hole (i was way to scared to take a dremel to the bumper)

patience will be the key virtue in all this

430 dollars?? jesus... i have an 02-03 jdm bumpy and usdm ebay fogs.. does anyone have a diy for the retro fit? im not paying that ridiculous amount of money for fog lights.. i'd rather get some 3" hella rounds and call it a day.

just shave it down..you really dont need a DIY..its pretty simple

i suppose i should worry about getting the lights to work before i get them to fit.. lol

EDIT; but even so, i'm not even too sure what it is im cutting out and whats staying. all these brackets and tabs and no instructions leave me pretty confused.

Yup they are very expensive, i never said they were cheap. There is no diy for a retro fit, but it just consists of trimming the foglight shrouds until it fits, then finding a way to mount it. Just put in the time if you dont want to put in the money
