I think I might've just traded my motorcycle, a honda xr650, for 2 Datsun 280Z turbo's and a ton of spare parts. So I might not turbo/N2O the EP3, and just make it an autoX/daily driver car. I'll find out in the next couple of days. But I'm frickin stoked.
I'd love to have a spare 400hp 280z.

Yeah, it's a 650cc, worth about 2 grand. The guy was asking 1100 for both cars.. So I offered him the bike for the cars and a spare engine and a whole bunch of other shit. I'm really hoping this works out.

The part about an autoXer appeals to me. Great fun. The EP is sort of heavy and undertired as autoXers go, however. You might wanna take a look at the series "Grassroots Motorsports" has been doing the last three issues on their EP w/bars, shocks, tires, etc. The EP is new enough that there's still a lot of sorting out to do and the car's weight remains a problem. I think if I were going to do this next year (it's snowing outside this morning), I'd just firm up the shocks (Koni's), invest in a set of decent (sticky) tires and call it a day. That way you can still run in a stock class and get a sense of the car's potential without being bumped in a modified class.
