I've been in need of the same fix....I was just thinking of buying new ones and installing them instead of trying to paint them.....

Anyone with a write-up on this?

the strip that runs along the bottom of the drivers and passengers is peeling on mine..... I'll have to remove them and paint them or just get new ones

the weather stripping you'll need to replace but that stuff i bought works on the black pillars the black pieces next to the side mirrors and the black piece between the windshield and hood, i also used it on the rear wiper cover

I just replaced these on my car, LOOKS WAAAAY BETTER now lol. First off i got the new pieces at www.hondapartsnow.com part #'s are 72410-S5S-E01 and 72450-S5S-E01. All you gotta do to replace them is remove the tweeter molding, loosen up the bolts for the power mirror enough to pull the weatherstrip up and out, you don't need to loosen all the way, unless you want to. Then pop the new piece back in, and voila!

As far as restoring the faded black plastic. I just got some Mothers back to black, and it worked great on the other weatherstripping on the roof, the rear windshield wiper, and the plastic above the hood where the front windshield wipers are, and the black plastic part that holds the power mirrors. My car looks 10 times better just with these items. So yeah, i definitely recommend repairing/detailing these items, you'll be happy you did.

Yup, I checked that site already. They do not ship to Canada. Anyone know where I can get these weather strips from? Any place that ships to Canada? Thanks!

you have any friends in the US? Ship it to them then have them ship to you? Kinda hassle.

my suggestion would just be to replace it with new parts...let me tell you from experience, its better to buy these parts new while you can still get them, years from now, when honda no longer sells them, thats when you refurbish them yourself. and if you keep the beat up part you removed youll have pieces to fix up and swap out at that point.
