the motor build.
Well you Saw the motor dropped a valve on the stock A3. This helped me lose my job. had to move from AZ to IL to live with my sister til i get my shit together. went for a cold ride to pick up a k24a1 from MN. when i got there hehad a a2 also for $200 bucks more.

You can see the k20a2 is on the stand already so i kept this one, and sold the k24 to a guy in Hawaii.

When this happened it sent parts of the piston's and valve up into the S/C. after calling The High Speed Lab i was told how to take the charger apart, so i did it.

After i saw that the S/C was ok, i sent it to the lab and got the rotors coated, which seems to be working well.

Keeping the a2 i decide to build it before i put it in. Want 10.5-1 C/R which brought me to Mahle pistons that i had to find the last set in existence, buried in a warehouse in MI. the rods are Blueprint H beams and blueprint dual valve springs and TI retainers. And BC FI cams.(mistake)also got a hell of a deal on a TSX head with only 6 Miles on it.

Got the motor in, had to do the finshing touches as always. got the K=Pro up and running got a base map loaded and it started right up first try, only prob, was a bad map sensor, and i had the map and tps switched on the harness. Just in time for the first snow fall.

after runing car twice a week during the winter i pull the valve cover to inspect it. i find this

call Brian Crower, to be blamed for pouring water in my motor. and was told i would have to pay to ship them the cam, pay for them to inspect, and pay for them to polish them. I said GTFO took them to my machine shop and got them polished. this same phone call i asked about these cams with a S/C And was told they have great results with them. After trying to get the car tuned 2 prior times with failures i got it done last week

THE NUMBERS Are only 236hp 178tq. the tuner and i are convinced the cams are putting a huge hurt on the numbers so i am trying to get some stock cams and see what happens. thats where i am. i'll get some good pics soon!
