I just bought some used TSX wheels off eBay.

This is my car with stock

this is the new TSX wheels I bought chopped in. I'll have to get spacers I'm sure, but it looks pretty cool huh?

Need to get some tires and spacers... then I'm set!

it actually really looks really good.
I was thinking about this the other day when I was at a stop light and a TSX was at the other lane.

Ehhh i'm not a big fan of the CL9 wheel's... I saw em on an FG2 the other day... looked kinda off imo. I think the CL7 rim's look better than the CL9.

I'm going to test fit them when they come in. If they hit the calipers...I'm sure I'll need spacers. However, I always thought spacers were 20mm...but there's more/less....

What's a good thickness? Will 20mm fit without mods?

Thanks Amigos!

the offset on these is 55...stock is 40-41... does that mean the the wheels will be 15mm closer towards the center? I notice a small amount of rubbing on the rear with my OEM wheels... The camber looks higher than in the front... Spacers? readjust camber?

They're not here yet, but I'm just planning ahead

yeah basically the wheel is about 15mm closer to the center. I think your going to need spacers, I was going to get some euro accord type-r rims but they had a +55 offset and didnt want to deal with it.

well, the guy had them on his 2006+ si, so if that's the case I might need the 5mm? Like I would if I bought Si wheels?

Hmmm....worse comes to worse...they'll fit my wifes Accord..

OH...and where can I buy some quality spacers should I need to? I'm beginning to suspect I shoun't have purchased these wheels...the 15mm difference may mean the back of the rim hits the lower trailing arm on the suspension.....

Im sure you wont need spacers for those, if they are +55 they are further from the center not closer.

The closer the number is to 0 that is when you will have caliper clearance issues.

I think you may be confused on that.

Or we are understanding diff matters of this topic.

actually 55 means its going to be more sucked in so spacers would be needed, the closer to 0 the lower the offset = the further out they will sit, thats why you see flush people with 15, 0 offsets etc

i used to have an em2 and people put fit wheels on those cars, fit offset is 55 and they are very sunken in...stock is 42 offset so they sit further out

yes..."sunken" in... even if they fit, they're 15mm deeper in the wheel well....wtf did I buy?

I'm not sure they'll fit my wife's accord either...that 55 is a bitch!

Worse comes to worse....I put them on craigslist and sell for as close to what I paid as possible and move on ... lesson learned.

We'll see when they arrive this week :)

Aha!

I didn't realize our OEM wheels are 6.5" not 7"

I will lose 16mm of space at back of wheel... I think I have more than 16mm! that's about as wide as my pinky! And the wheels will set back 4mm from OEM.. I don't think anyone but a robot would notice the difference!

they're on! they fit!

I didn't realize how much the camber in the rear tilts in when you put the wheels off the ground. I almost thought they would not fit. But I put them on and went for a drive..they don't rub and seem to work just fine!!

oh, and the camera doesn't show the difference in the silvers...the wheel silver is much brighter!

they wont rub even if you're slammed with 0 camber lol

Looking good better than the photochop lol.

As I figured they were gonna go on with no issues, 95% of honda wheels will fit with each other.

thanks! I'm still adjusting to them....yeah i took a spin and drove hard, cornered hard...no worries...that rear camber just straightens right out, but on the jack...the tires hit the rear strut tower...weird...

Funny thing, they look sorta similar to my old ones, but bigger.... My wife didn't even know I put them on...HA!

I'm not one for drops... never cared for them too much...but I also don't want the 4X4 look either!
