i do not feel like dropping 200+bucks on one though so i was wondering what if i bought a 20 dollar ebay cai and just threw my K&N filter on it??

My opinion those are not good. I tried them and they are pieces of s***. At one point, it was rusting. I went to fujita cai and then to injen cai. Spend a bit more on the brand name. My opinion tho

Dude - good idea! And you (I) could switch back to a SRI for winter. Anyone sporting a cheap ebay tube??

maybe look around for used AEM/Injen tube with good deal and get a velocity stack + K&N filter??? I've seen CAI tubes only around $50 or less here and there..., that'd be less than 200 for sure.

you can either look on here or clubrsx, 50-100 bucks for one in ok shape. Plus rsx spec is the size you want.
