What"s up fellow EP3'rs.... Quick question I need some help with.. I have a 2005 Honda Civic Si with the basic upgrades.. Intake, test-pipe full Greddy exhaust, lowered w/a camber kit.. This week I will be buying the HONDATA K-PRO from JE Import Performance, I live the the great state of Delaware so for all of u in the central North East I am sure that u have heard or them. Very reputable company.. To my question, before I buy the K-Pro I want to know if I will have to send my stock ECU to Hondata along with the K-Pro or if the K-Pro can just be plugged in then tuned.. And, if there is a stock EP3 program that can be uploaded or if it mandatory to have it tuned. As far as price goes I have 1800.00 set aside for the K-Pro and the tuning. Any help u guys can give me with this question would be greatly appericated.. Thanks so much guys and be safe..

you send in your ecu to get kpro'd, you get it back and load up the basemap already provided in kmanager that you install on your laptop thats included with kpro. After the base map load you can drive it around for a while until you get it tuned but it seems that your gonna get that done quickly anyway

Download KManager to your laptop and hit "New Calibration" and that'll show you the basemaps there. I personally don't have KPro but here is the exact install & shipping instructions. It literally had a one day turn around back to my door from California to my house in Atlanta, GA.

The ecu and immobilizer removal takes about 10 minutes all together.
