Buying an EP3, input on this listing?

Hey guys, I'm shopping pretty heavily for an EP hatch. Right now I'm looking specifically at this listing:

Anyone familiar with this car?

First off, it's definitely not completely stock as listed (looks lowered, wing)

Autocheck and Carfax both report different accidents on the car for a total of 3 accidents: 2 listed on carfax and 1 on autocheck.

The car is relatively low miles and has a high KBB value of $11,055 in excellent condition , $10,430 in Good and $9,380 Fair condition.

Wondering if anyone's seen this car or has any input on whether it's a good buy. I'm meeting the owner on 6/2/2010 to check it out.

Yeah obviously it is lowered, and has Red H's and a wing. I'd be worried about the mileage because the check says inconsistent.


It does look clean, though. Price is too high for the accident and mileage error. IMO

If you really want the car but you're sketched out about the car's condition take it to a honda dealership and have the car looked over. I'm not sure of the cost out west but here in the Carolinas it about 50 bucks and takes an hour. Maybe tell the current owner that you are seriously interested but need the reassurence of a professional to make sure the car is a-ok. Maybe the owner would be willing to pay for it and then include the cost of the check in the price.

You would then know exactly whats right and wrong with the car and also what kind of services the car will need in the near future.

get it checked, if they say its good, talk the seller down to around 8.

Ehh... I would stay away from it. It's clean... but the "INCONSISTENT ODOMETER READING" is a turn off for me. 43K miles is pretty low miles for a 6 year old car... but it could possibly have even more than what the odometer reads.
