When I took off my door panel I found a big white plastic sheet and 2 yellow foam thing. What are those things for?

pastic sheet is to help seal inside of the door from moisture, and the foam are filler pieces, which are intended to keep the door panel from flexing too much but are also there for side impact safety

The foam also breaks resonance nodes inside the door cavity. the Jute (green stuff) stops HF infiltration.

That shit is gone in mine, replaced by a layer of MLV bonded to closed cell foam. Toss some power to a door speaker and that vapor barrier becomes a kazoo. Albeit expensive MLV makes a damn fine vapor barrier without trapping moisture on the metal or in the door long-term..

I just removed the white plastic piece on the passenger side. Will this hurt at all? It doesn't look like it does anything but keep dust out. What should I do now that it's gone. I don't really know how to use MLV

yeah i saw that picture. It says R and L which is left and right, right? so do i want the left or right side? I need it for the passenger side. I took it off in one piece except for a rip but I didn't figure that it would stick on the glue again. I didn't wanna remove the glue because it looks like a PITA to do it so I just put masking tape all around.

haha passenger side is right side...i just kept re-sticking it to the adhesive, worked fine, though they are easy to tear.

time to put acoustic treatment inthe doors. I'm having shoptime n a rainy day, I recently removed mine to so acoustic treatment. I'll see if I saved them. I'm known to go goofy shit like that, I'm the Mad German Hoarder.

yeah you're gonna have to break it all down to me. I'm uber noob when it comes to audio stuff. I barely got my aftermarket deck in by myself.
