mine is on the C-Pillar..

i have seen many with gauge pods.

on my 240sx, i actually did some custom work to get the gauges to fit where the cd player was. granted, i did not have a cd player when i got the car... so i have to figure out where i want to mount a new one.

since you are boosted and i am na with barely any interior without ac, soooo i would assume you do not have a/c.... if you do not have ac i would remove the dials that control the ac and have three nice little gauges.... oooooo i would look clean two but it would be some work.... if you do have ac...wtf are you doing...j/k some places need it...

yeah im only running a boost gauge for now.. i think imma do a Tunerview and put it in the pocket under the radio.. that will work pretty spot on

And what brand gauges does one recommend? AEM? ProSport? Generic?

so its kinda like having your laptop connected to kpro while your driving
it just displays whatever parameters you want it to
like your a/f, rpm, etc...

so if you got this, you wouldnt even need anymore gauges...

AKEP

if thats what you wanted... to me i might as well have my laptop out to show me all that, or a carputer connected to a 7" touch screen that automatically starts k pro on boot, so i can do tuning right there too...and watch dvds...and have navi...

for me, i wanna know whats going on, when/while its happening. I'd like to run the gauges on the column, i think i saw someone running a set up like that and it looked super clean, and made sense. if i was running too rich or lean, AFR is right there, and if something happens to vac/boost then i see it right away, not after its too late on a datalog, if i was even datalogging, on a digital guage, thats under my radio or something.

i have plans for a double din set up, so im not going to hack up my pocket and stick a dot matrix screen under my cheesy radio. i see a little bit of convience in it, maybe for a track car type set up. but imo i think it looks kinda ricey. does't go well with the red oem lighting, as they only offer green, yellow, and blue.

$0.02

maybeh im a ricer, but i like my gauges. I think I've decided to go with AEM and that ATI/stock column.

It should, watching the video on it, all you do is select what sensor you want to monitor. MAP sensor is your psi/boost reading so you would have no problem adding that.
