Sunroof only closes halfway

I have a 2002 Civic Si and my sunroof/moonroof will only close halfway when I hold in the sunroof button. It will open all the way when I hold in the button but when I want to close it stops halfway in the same place and the motor stops. I let go of the button and than I press and hold the button again until the sunroof closes the remainder of the way. I checked the rails and there is nothing stuck or preventing it from closing. I tried searching the forums but I had no luck. Has anyone had this problem before? Thanks in advance for your help.

It's a "safety feature" that stops the sun roof halfway. Here's how to disable it:

That is NORMAL, it is a safety feature.

There is a switch/relay up on the track that can be disabled and allow the glass to close without the safety stop at halfway closed.
