EDM/UKDM window seal...what is this???

I've been noticing that the european and UK EPs (type-rs, type-s, ep2, etc) all have this little tag on their window seal. And I'm curious about what its for? Ive seen it alot on other older civics, but cant figure out whats the purpose? I'm kinda wondering if its almost a guide/reinforcement for the window seal so it doesnt fuck up as often (like they do with the USDM ones)

it adds 5 hp...honestly dont know...i should know what that is, ive seen it on other cars...someone here is bound to know, i see them on cars in the us all the time

I don't know either. But I'm glad they're not "JDM" or you'll start seeing those little dots on everybody's car now lol

im more interested in if it adds regitity to the window seal. I've already replaced my window seals twice since I bought my car a little over two years ago.

Might be some kind of window guide. I think we have something similar on the inside to help the window to go up all the way while driving (and the window is moving around).
