Last night a friend and I drove the Ep to the clup, his first time in my car. I threw a couple sharp turns at him plus railed a couple on ramps, allthough he seemed resonably impressed; this guy is not a car guy=drives an iced out '00 Maxima. I found that the passenger side area does not have an ooH Poop! handle:eek: The rear portion of the cabi does, but why on earth in a car like this does the front pass not get one. My friend kept saying ok-ok man I have nothing to hold onto you can cool it now! I think the last Ford Taurus I rented even had an oh-poop handle at every passenger outboard position........to be cont.

I entirely agree, I don't care how ugly, it needs to be there. they could have put it into the headliner, I'm sure even a dx regular Civic has one there.

I think this might be the only gripe I have with my car, other than rearward visibility is challenging while parking at times,

yeah, i agree with you guys that it would be nice to have one. i was so used to holding on to it that when i sat in my car, i made the motions, but nothing was there. must be a reflex action or something. anyways now i tell people to hold on to the door handle.

wouldnt you have to bolt it onto the frame?

Two ways to fix it --
- Drive more courteously with a passenger;
- Have a passenger that doesn't whine so damn much.

DX's don't come with sunroofs :)

IMO, well bolstered seats negate the need for an oh shit handle.
so far, when i've ridden in my friend's si, this holds true.

Fack the handle i have her stick her leg out the sun roof..... and one out the window. :D
But i wonder if we have the area to bolt it up there? like mounting brackets.

Shit.. and people already complain how much the EP weighs. Why add more weight with a grab handle? And that's highly placed weight, further effecting our center of gravity.

i guess it depends on how big you are. guys never complain about sliding around in the seats as their shoulders usualy sit squarely between the bolsters. but i do get complaints from girls, my g/f in particular b/c her frame is much smaller than what the seats were apparently designed for.
