i own a 2003 ep3 with tokico blue and h&r springs. what do you guys think is the best tire size for my car? im thinking there's atleast an inch or 1 1/2 inch gap still with my stock rims. is 205/50/16 tire size be ok without rubbing?

It depends on the width of your new wheels.

you might rub a little bit, but run a degree of negative camber and you'll be fine

I think you'll be okay...

the width is 7" i was thinking of getting the buddy club sf black with red lip or rota slipstreams

i don't really want to do that. but what should be the best fit without rubbing. how about 205/45/16?

You should be good with that tire size. You might have rubbing issues in the rear but you can add negative camber as posted before or roll your fenders. The buddy clubs would look good on your EP.

wish i wouldve read this thread earlier but anywayz u should be fine with that size tire, i have 16x8 and i got wheels 225/50/16 so i have to roll my fenders and probably run a little camber on it

are u talking about the 205/50/16 or 205/45/16? i just wanted to have a little meat on tires unlike my old 17's.

i think im just getting 15's instead. but what kind of offset is good. im thinking of getting the buddy club p1's and they sell it for 31 or 41 offset.

I'm running 16x7, +42mm offset, 205/45/16 all around.
no rubbing but I think 205 is not enough for the car.
I must change it to 215 or higher next time.
Also, the wheel gap is too big, I run 215/45/17 before and it looks good.

i had 205/50/16 on a neuspeed sport spring, about a 1.5 in drop, little camber and had no rubbing. now i'm still on 205/50/16 but on coilovers with unknown amount of drop, but minor camber to not rub.

15's are too small...

for 16's, you go stick with 205-50-16. you can always go wider but that means 215-45-16. I'm on 205-50-16 dropped on tien basics (don't know how low) but I have barely a 1 finger gap.

NO YOU SHOULD RUN 205/50/16

1 degree of negative camber is WITHIN factory spec, you arent doing anything wacky...

15's are too small for an EP IMO.

you should be fine with 205 50 16...im dropped 1.5 running same rim width and tire size and i have no rubbing even when the car is full. looks good too not too much gap.

a little bit thin but should be okay if there isn't lots of pot holes.
