Can a ECU go bad?

Well... I've tried and tried my best to fix my idleing issue. I've replaces the IAC and TPS sensors as well as did the idle reset 100 TIMES!... No check engine code of P1519 anymore, but still the same symptoms.... Car idles wierd, loss of power. All I can think is the ECU is bad.

have you tried a compression check, check the vacuum lines, looked at your spark plugs etc etc?

What vacume lines should I look at? Any specific ones... ? Im thinking of doing a compression test as well. I keep thinking my timing is off or something... But I havent messed with any internals to have done anything to that.

I'm wondering... if the TB gasket is bad would I be having problems?
