On page 23-26 of the FSM (http://www.s10blazed.com/ephatch/Honda_Civic_EP3_02_03_Service_Manual.pdf) they give you a little diagram, not sure if this would help your or not.

To make the process easier get you 2 long pieces of wire and connect them to your paperclips. Just make sure you skin the insulation off each side. With the extended length from the wire you can actually just sit in your seat and reset it. Much easier than trying to cram under the dash and pull the paper clip in and out.

1) Try the SRS reset via the service connector, if the light goes out..then wonderful..if it comes back..go to 2)

2) Try reading the code via the OBD2 port pins 4&9 and read it...pretty fun to get the code..it's like morse code...
Once you figured out the diagnostic code..proceed to fix what it says

I pulled a 7-2 (SRS Unit is malfunctioning) so had to order a new one. If you were in an accident, some of the codes won't be resettable with method 1) so you can send it in to get it reset..cheaper then getting a new unit...myairbags.com does this..pretty good reviews and also sells SRS units cheap

Also the Helm's manual has pretty good debug techniques you can do with just a multimeter and for dead sensors..bypass resistors work if you want just the SRS light gone, but note that the airbag for that sensor will not deploy.

Good luck
