I have a set of 16" Rota Gt3's
and i wanted to upgrade to 17" wheels...
A buddy has a set of Tenzo wheel's...
The red look's real clean but i wanna go with a black set of wheels...
If these don't look good which wheel's should I get for my Ep to change it up..?
I want an offset wheel but @ the same time don't really wanna roll my fenders...

the rotas still look good, but the red just isnt poppin. i never understood the attraction.

keep the wheels, just change the color.

when you say you want an "offset" wheel, do you want a phatty lip or do you want the wheels to sit closer to the fender?

both really...a fatter lip which is why i thought of changing my wheels..
& the offset i want like a 15+ offset. something not looking like A dun buggy..
I am gonna roll my fenders slightly..
what color should I get them changed too?

yeah silver with a polish lip looks dope. i've always been a fan of the hart/gab wheels like that on silver. also white looks good. but then again if you're truely just bored and dont mind painting a cheap set of rotas, i say just do something really in your face. like anodized purple, or blue like my old wheels. but thats just me lol

i dont think you'll be happy with the trade. post the rota's for sale and go from there. Get wheels you want and be happy

haha i can never understand why people say this, if you are going to roll the fenders, might as well roll it all the way flat. Your going to have to anyways with that 15 offset your talking about.

because some people don;t want to compromise the structural integrity of the quarter panel by taking away that 90 degree lip. the fender will crease or bend from the side much easier with the lip bent all the way to 180 degrees.

and its not entirely true that he'll need to roll his fenders. it all depend on his drop, tire size, and camber settings.
he didnt mention if he wants an 8 wide. i know rota makes 16x7 +0 grids. which would be the equivalent to like +13 or something on an 8 wide.. don't quote me on this, its early and im not fully awake yet lol. i think guardian is good with that shit, i know he said that +35 on a 9 wide is the same as +22 on an 8.

plus i have 16x8 +10 with 205/40 on them and i only rub on dips but my camber settings are no more then maybe 1 degree, maybe 1.5 negative, and my car is dropped in the ball park of 4 inches.

This is so false on so many levels lol.

I gotchu. I may anodize them red to match my PasswordJDm tow hooks.. or ditch them and get a set of Sport Max wheels...

You are from LongIsland I see. I was born an lived in Riverhead for 13years...I will be back by the end of the summer..
But yeah i just grew old of the Rota's...
and you are right i wont have to roll my fenders all the way because my buddy's Dc2 are barely rolled with the +15 offset with a set of 16in Sportmax..

Are those the tenzo wheels you want to swap in that picture? if it is dont, cause they look like shit. Might as well just paint the current wheels.

explain yourself please. this is what i was told years ago, and it makes perfect sense to me..

the dc2 can handle much larger wheels then we can, but in any event it all depends on what tire size you run/drop/camber settings.

i have a friend named megan that lives in pensacola florida who was originally from here. i used to skateboard in riverhead every day after school when i was like 16-18 it'd be nice if you moved out here while the weather is still nice. i only have 2 other ep3 friends out here haha.

I was just kidding lol, Entertaining the post..!

On a real note. i were thinking about using a AirCraft Paint removal to eat away the red gel coat and do a finish silver...
