The car they are going on:

Which one from the three above would you think would look best on my car?
Right now im leaning towards the RPF1s in SBC...need some opinions/input. Holla!
And yes i know the decision is mine and i should get what i want...in the end i will just need some second, third, fourth, fifth, etc opinions.

digging ur current setup + I have never thought that DC5z stocky would sit so nice on NHBP ep3 ,

- I vote for RPF1

Thanks for posting your current setup pic! I have a set of RSX 16's in my garage that I need to paint - esp. after seeing your pic. Other than your current setup, I would go RPF1's. SBC is the way to go on your NHBP!

I say RPF 1, but black. Black looks soooo sick. Those polish ones remind me of an American Racing rim. Blah. But you can't really go wrong with any RPF 1.

1. Thanks, you referring to the 5Zigen wheels? I have thought about em, my local import shop (racinglab) has em, i like the GN+.

2. Thanks, ive always liked the 05-06 Rsx Type S wheels.

3. Nice nice, rsx wheels are one of my favorite oem wheels, regardless of year.

Christian and jtrollinger, thanks for the visuals/opinions. I like both set ups, black on black, black on bronze, your guys ep3s look rad.

Im gonna have to spend some more time making my decision, but as of right now im thinking SBC RPF1s. Saw em yesterday on a black Mazda MS3....looks ill.

And to all who have replied with feedback, thanks again.

everyone gets rpf1's... its just not interesting anymore... and really.. i dont think they even look good on EPs..when I see cars with them I cant help but think "..meh"

What about some DC5 type-r rims? Ive never seen a NHB EP with those, or my buddy has some new BBS gold rims that look sick on his ep, i dont remember the model but just skimming threw bbs's line has some nice stuff..

1. The 5Zigens with the SBC look, is that the hyperblack color?

2. Everyone and their grandma has RPF1s and for good reason.

Taken from Enkei's website:
MAT PROCESS: Shaping by the MAT process reduces wheel weight by 10%-15%. Every pound of unsprung weight savings has the effect of reducing overall vehicle weight by 20lbs.

F1 REPLICA: Enkei is an official supplier of the McLaren Mercedes Formula One Team. The RPF1 was developed using the same technology as the Formula One race wheel. TWIN SPOKES: Enkei's dual open stance spoke design is used on the McLaren Mercedes Formula One race wheel. The twin spokes achieve better stress dispersion on curves, hard braking, and extreme race driving.

CENTER DESIGN: Enkei's pocket design around the bolt circles increases rigidity and keeps the wheel cooler during aggressive race driving.

• Sizes 15, 16, 17, 18 & 19 Inch
• Available F1 Silver, Gold, Black, SBC (special order)
• Spec-E Inspected
• MAT Technology

I just think that while the RPF1s have been and are the new "slipstreams"...they just look like a wheel i can rock for a long time and be happy with.
The DC5 Type R wheels are +60 offset...thats sunken battleship status since our cars have a stock offset of +45. My friend rocks em on his 06 PWP Rsx Type S and while i thought about running em, i just hate the idea of using spacers to push em out. The BBS wheels would be nice but i dont wanna spend lots of geep for wheels, when it comes down to it i cant see myself dropping so much green...well at least not now since im prioritizing my spending.

http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-1408381693991_2112_22227887
The JDM EP3 Type E wheels would be great for our EP3s, 17X7/+45 offset/5X114.3. Just a thought for those who might want that kind of set up.

The white and silver EP3s up there are nice, S2K wheels look especially nice. If im not mistaken you have to run 2 front pairs of S2K wheels to get the proper offset number for the Ep3? Whats the offset of the S2K front wheels? Just curious.

The zigen sbc isn't the black Chrome. Check the zigen usa website.

Yes, u have to run 4 front s2k wheels regardless of ap1 or ap2

The RPF1 is a great racing wheel but I promise you, most people that run the RPF1 have never been on a race track of any kind and street light racing doesnt count. so the performance aspect is void and if you want more powerformance you are better off saving for suspension parts and better tires.

I am pretty sure most buy rims for looks and dont care about performance aspect..its just an added bonus for them.

Thanks for all the input guys.

*update*
Ordered a set of Enkei RPF1 wheels in bright silver.
17X7, 5X114.3, +45.
Should have em in 2 weeks time.
My theme is now simple and clean, the bright silver RPF1s on a black EP3 just looks right imo. I think im now partial to silver/polished wheels...not feeling gold/black/white/etc anymore, silver is classic and never goes out of style.

Andrew, im selling my RSX wheels. If you know anyone who is looking to cop a set lmk, if you can get em sold ill gladly give you $20 commission. Holla!

Yeah Phil is funny. I was either gonna get em from Mach III or Racinglab, but Mach III couldnt match Racinglab's price so i went there. However im going to Mach III for installation.

Thanks mang, i feel like im gonna miss the DC5 wheels on my EP. They look nice for OEM wheels and i get compliments on em from time to time on how clean they look. The RPF1s are crazy popular, lots of people have them or are getting them. Anything nice and worth copping will be copped, its just a matter of time. The good thing is the 5 star design (DC5 wheels, Spoon wheels, etc) and the multi spoke wheel design will always be contemporary...they will never get old. The main reasons i want the RPF1 is because strong and lightweight, the classic design is a bonus. Form and function.
