Looks pretty neat and seems to be a better option (at least to me) than to relocate the battery to the trunk, but I was wondering if anyone had better pics than the above.

i made one similar to it. instead my battery sits sideways and didnt need to extend the wires. i believe with the pwjdm, you need to extend your wires.

made your own? sounds cool, you have any pics?

I think you're right about extending the wires, you can clearly see they're modified in the pic. I'm fine with that btw.

I want to see if I can drop my battery down, hack my SRI and get the filter up near the headlight where the battery was.

Ive got one, unfortunately my car is torn down and hour away. Its a pretty easy install, extending the wiring is pretty easy if you have a good head on you.
If for sure clears out the space where the battery used to be, you could route and intake that way if you wanted to.

let me know if you have any other questions...

i would be worried about the negative terminal not having a bolt to keep it from coming off.

It's got a bolt in the lower pic.

I've got the kit, and jerry-rigged the wiring with a short terminal wire kit from Pep Boys or someplace like that. Easy enough for me to install, so it must be pretty simple.

so the positive terminal doesn't have a bolt then?
