Hey guys, been here for some time now. My name is Reiss. I am 19. I have recently started working at a custom car shop and pretty much can do what ever I want to my car for free. So for all you JDM lovers out please just keep your JDM opinions to yourself. The car is pretty "clean" as of right now, but I will be working soon with fiberglass on the inside and out and will be doing things that can be considered "ricey," but this is America and im ganna do whatever the fuck i want. Haha just playing, but really, i will be building my car to my liking.

So this is the start of our journey (kinda). Ive had the car for some time now but have only done a few things. After some time this car will look completely different.

Ill have pics of it tomorrow on the car. I have to sand it and re-clearcoat it because i hug fly landed on it. The hood probably wont stay this way as i play to paint the car a 2 tone black and lime green but like i said, everythings free, so why not.

haha, well if you really want to know...I painted the back ground lime green then purposefully oversprayed the H with black then left it in the sun. that makes it dry and crack giving you want looks to be the rock guy from the fantastic 4, then sprayed black again hehe

There were some issues at the shop today so i didnt get to fix the rest of the hood. Tomorrow i should have it done and i might be able to redo my tail lights. Ill be darking out the chrome and lightly darkening the break lights

whats up with the green..lol i dig it thow.. nice.. but that engine bay needs a clean up.. wash up the ep3s..there monsters with the right mod support..in my tone the a3 the the wack k-series motor..but im mobing build b-series..na no boost or noss..i beat a spoon engine in a ek hatch just the other day....lol nice car..

Sorry for the delayed reply but heres some updates

7-27-10:
I kinda rushed the hood so Im going back and doing it the right way. I want to make this car look good so even people that hate ricers will like it. (Side note: I'm not actually going to buy a huge body kit for the car. I plan on making a few additions to the bumpers and sideskirts but nothing too crazy)

So I grinded down the crack even more and then filled it with fiberglass filler

There are some cracks on the top but there are small enough to sand and bondo. There are also cracks at the bottom and i will fiber glass them up to but the pic would be boring if posted and no body reads this any way they just look at the pics.

Here is something not as custom but still an update: Luis teaching me to tint. Deff something you need to do hands on to learn but i finally got it down.

While doing the tint i had to remove the rear wipper blad and just decided to leave it off. I guess ill be making a trip to Home Depot to find something to plug it.

Sorry but this update wasnt too custom. Next i plan to re-smoke my tail lights but one of my future custom plans will probably have me selling my tail lights...and i dont plan on replacing them with after market ones either...

Also my next plan is to make the 3 piece dash into a 2 piece and then after i get my flip screen in dash i will make it a one piece and try to flush it (because where the defroster thing in it kind of dives down) and have the guy at the shop that air brushes air brush it.

I will also try to finish the hood tomorrow so ill post that too.

Ha, Tell me about it, it looks like a junk yard threw up in our engine bay. Unfortunately our shop doesnt do much for the engine bay but i will start looking up ways to clean it up once i find a DD and can just non stop work on the EP. Any help or hook ups to link/threads would be well apprciated :).

Thank you senior, I actually kinda discovered it the Penicillin way, on accident. It didnt look very good but then i redid it and it looked really cool. And Ill deff keep the updates coming

Stock chrome lugs sanded and painted yellow for a base then neon green. Gotta love spray paint. Oh and yes those are RSX wheels with 4x4 tires. haha not my choice but they were given to me as a bday present. I plan on getting some semi Deep Dish rims and painting the inside black and the Lip, you guessed it, Lime green.

At our shop we cut and shrink(fit) the film on the out side then move to the inside where we apply it. This way its easier to work with on the inside because we have more space. I actually found this quite ingenious if you ask me.

And thank you sir, everyone feels so pressured now a days to do everything JDM (Just Drop Money(I know thats not what it means but it should)) because if they do one thing in a different way they criticize every little bit of you. Like seriously you guys are just like women who want designer pants at $600 but can buy other pants that look just as good for 40 bucks. All Im say is just cause its JDM or Mugen doesnt mean its the only thing that looks good

Sorry for all my venting in this thread but sooner or later someone is going to tell me that my car is stupid looking and that I wasted my money but really I havent. My car has everything I want in it, difference. Everytime Ive been to an EP meet I see Mugen this and JDM front end that. I was the only car with a black and green badge and a DIY lower grill. Basically I was the only one that was different and thats what I want.
