Hi, I am new to the EP3 scene...I just bought my son an 02 Civic SI.

It looks lowered to me but I can't tell for sure.

Here is my question...

Can someone with a STOCK ride height EP3 measure from the center of the wheel hub to the lip of the wheel well for me please?

My son's is 13 inches front and 13 1/2 inches rear.

Thank you.

Take a pic of the suspension with the wheel off..... Post it here and we will be able to help you better.

x2 for the pic. the distance measured will be a tad different depending on the wheel/tire size that is currently on the vehicle. i'd go measure mine but the ep isn't home :mfrown:

edit: that or even just a side shot of the car. but a pic of the actual suspension components would be best.

lol, buddy, when I got my EP it had big meaty tires, mudflaps and 4x4 status height. Should've came with a z71 decal.
If it's at a "questionable" height for being lowered or notprobably just has springs like a inch or so drop.

does it look like a 4x4?

if not, yes, it is lowered.

Welcome and hope this helps you a bit. I have 17" rims and stock suspension but anyway I got 14 1/4 rear and 14 1/2 front.

Thanks for the info SI in GA, based on your numbers my SI is lowered 1 inch.

To Socmex7, wheel size will not make any difference if you measure from the center of the wheel to the bottom lip of the fender well as all a bigger tire/wheel combo will do is fill up the wheel well more and raise if you measure from the ground to any part on the car.

The distance from the center of the wheel to the bottom lip of the fender well will only change with changes in suspension.

P.S. Here is a picture.

wheel size does make a difference

IMO it doesnt seemed lowered..it just seems that way because the wheels are small (15s?)

Why didn't u just look at the springs? Seems like a lot of trouble for a simple answer.
