Anyone from the Michigan area on here? I know it's early to get a regional forum going on, but just to take a head count would be cool. If so, including you guys (and girls) in the Windsor or Sarnia area, we should get something going on. I'd be totally down for setting something up in the Southeastern part of the state (I'm about an hour west of Detroit) or in downtown Windsor.

oh, and while I was writing this I thought of the Michigan Civic Owners Clubs' acronym would be.... get this... "Mi-Coc" http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/images/smilies/chuckles.gif

There's 2 of us in London Ontario (2 hours from windsor). I wonder if there are any others around here? I'd consider meeting at the border. Windsors a fun city!

I'm the head organizer of the annual ClubSi Lapping Day event at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven Michigan. You missed this year's event, it was awesome. I was the only 2002 Si there however. You should attend next year's event, month of June 2003. South Haven is a nice area, loved it. We've had two annual events so far, next year will be our third. Most of the guys were from Michigan, few from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, only a couple of us Canadians though.

no such thing, no one like that in our group. I got lots of compliments about the new Si at the Gingerman event, was cool. Most guys do have the 99-00 Si but they don't care what year, an Si is an Si to them. I'm a moderator of ClubSi NA forum, nobody on there with anything bad to say about the new Si. You come across someone that just doesn't like the car for whatever reason, but no biggie that is just people's opinion which they have a right to, but no hate expressed at all. It seems like the Ontario forum ClubSi guys dislike the 2002 SiR more than any other group on that website, but most of those guys are running hybrid hatch swaps and stuff like that so they don't really relate to new cars much, at least what I could tell.
