Weird smell coming from my car, any help identifying problem?

Well the smell started coming up about 3 days ago, I checked my oil and i was pretttty dangerously low (my fault for not checking) so i added a container of 5w-30 (till i get paid). The smell is still there however, smells like burning plastic or oil or something gasseous. The week before i ran over something which looked like hard plastic but i dont know if it disconnected something underneath or damaged something. Any opinions?

look under the car by the cat, could be a plastic bag or something that got stuck and is melting

Definitely see if there is burned, now hardened, plastic bag or something of that nature on the exhaust. When I was a technician at the local honda dealer that would come in all the time.

Yep check that I recently found burned pages of math homework in my engine bay.
