I currently own a 2003 EP3 and I'm trying to rebuild my front passenger caliper. With the rebuild kit, it came with a seal, a dust cover and a retainer clip. Where in the hell does the retaining clip go? Long story short....rotor split in half and retaining clip was missing when we disassembled it. If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, fellow EP brethren, we found it. Thanks to anyone who looked at the thread ( I know it wasnt much).

In the image #1 is the rebuild kit and it doesnt show a clip. My honda service manual has an image WITH the clip, on the outside of the piston boot. hope some of this helps..

Edit: just missed it..

props rebuilding your caliper, people dont normally know how easy it is...plus its a good way to inspect the cylinder for pitting and wear

Anyone done a DIY for caliper rebuilds? I know mine could use some TLC, just not sure what's involved.

Thanks guys. It wasn't that hard to rebuild it once we figured out where that clip went. Car brakes much better now....I almost died on friday because of the brake but now it's all good. I definitely plan on keeping this car for a looooooong time. I've learned a lot about fixing cars by just repairing things on it.

Oh, and I forgot there was no pitting. The dust cover was ripped but other then that, no other problems. I'm gonna try and replace the lines soon to stainless and when it's paid off in April, I'll throw on some Hawk pads and do the rest of the calipers.
